More than a fortnight has passed since that night of May 31st when a dozen people were killed, when Israeli defense forces boarded the Turkish vessel Mavi Marmara, the flagship of the Freedom Flotilla heading for Gaza. New testimonies and facts have been added, progressively putting together a puzzle whose details are still fuzzy, but do allow us nonetheless to reconstruct a sufficiently clear overall picture. Considering the confused and contrasting versions in the media and the incident’s symbolic value, we will be discussing once again some of its aspects. (...)
